Sunday, we had a small cook out to celebrate Maddock’s 1st Birthday with family and friends. Everyone seemed to have a good time. The kids fully enjoyed their goodie boxes, especially the “grills” Lee picked out.
Look at my Garden grow…
Before school ended McKinlee was learning about plants/flowers and how they grow. So needless to say my son asked actually “begged” to grow his own garden. Seriously he wanted nothing more than to grow watermelon. He said to me, “mommy I want to grow watermelons for us so you don’t have to buy them anymore.” Very sweet, so Lee took the boys one night to Home Depot and bought some vegetable plants and YES two watermelon plants. I hate to say this – the watermelon plants aren’t doing so well. In learning all about how plants and flowers grow, he also learned that when you plant seeds, water them and lots of sunlight they too will grow. So while at Home Depot, McKinlee wanted string bean plants – Sorry – Green Bean seeds. So now we have lots of green bean plants growing. Have a look below – McKinlee is very proud of HIS garden! He Said He Wanted to Ride...
Today I'm writing a short story... My best friend back home as twins :) Alyssa and Justin turning 2 on July 1, this past weekend they decided to go to the shore "Point Pleasant" for the day with the kids. Well down at Point Pleasant beach there is an area called "Jacobsons' Boardwalk" where they have a ride area.
Angie and Dennis decided to take a walk through with the kids only to stumble upon the Fire Truck ride. Which Justin wanted to go on... so mom and dad proceeded to put him on, Alyssa declined the ride. This is the outcome of the ride on the Fire Trucks...

Presidential Election?
'08, McCain '08 and ONLY one bothers me more then any other. Seeing an OBAMA '08 sticker on a vehicle, blog, or anything at all for that matter that is owned by a white person, this infuriates me to no end. Why you ask, well let's think about this. A black person as president at this point in the economy... HELLLOOOOO are you all out of your friggin' mind?!?!?!!?! What is wrong with you people, are you that stupid and have your eyes glazed over that much that you think this black man is gonna step in and help us -- the white folks?? YOUR LOSING YOUR MARBLES PEOPLE. WAKE UP!!! Have you not been watching, reading or listening to what the rest of this country has been... Obama is a liar! a fake! a biased ass! You idiots might as well go to the store and buy your shoe polish now, because the only way he is helping you, is if your skin color matches his.

I have one question to ask, and if anyone out there can answer this for me, I would be
grateful -- but I do NOT want the answer -- "Because I have the right to vote and support for whomever I want" that is NOT an answer. Why if you are white would you vote for a black man over a white women that has already done the job and did pretty good job the last time.
